I'm ready for it. You're right - It will feel tropical. It's all relative. There will be kids on the college campus running around in shorts and working on their tans. I'm hoping for nice sunny day in the 60's. That's not unheard of in January.

I am looking forward to it. We don't have a basement to protect pipes so we have to leave them dripping....getting tired of monitoring that.

I'm w/everyone else. Above freezing temps. But not too warm b/c that might be hard on all the plants when it drops back down again.
Since I have not been out much I didn't have any bird feed. An I felt so sorry for them. I crumbled up a stale loaf of bread an have been putting it out for the the last 2 days. They must be very hungry b/c it was gone in moments. I will have to ask someone to p/u some bird seed for me.

I had 50 pounds before this started and bought another 25 at Wal-Mart instead of the feed store. I am down to dog food and old cereal. They don't seem to care for the alfalfa pellets. I hope the little birds carrying off the big chunks are able to eat it. They are probably hiding it in tree branches. I don't want to put it in my blender but I might try that today. They can eat the cat food but it is too precious. There is nothing worse than running out of cat food. Dogs will eat anything.

My weatherman who is often wrong says 50 tomorrow. I brought in two winter sowing jugs to tape them up better. They were in the hall too long - baby poppies. I guess i will try to plant them outside poor things.
