This is a truly aristocratic orchid and just about my favorite Coelogyne. Unfortunately it is neither easy nor reliable. It likes cool conditions, but is not quite so fussy in this respect as Coel. cristata. If things are not quite to its liking it is very prone to bud blast and I regularly lose about the half the flowers this way every year.
