Gee - I just joined this forum a few days ago, and I'm from Pomona but my name is Connie.

If the welcomes are for me, thank you. If there is another new member from Pomona whose name really is Karen, I'd appreciate meeting her!!!

Now, I am confused....all I know is someone new is from Pomona and whoever she is is welcome! Now....I have to find Pomona on the map. It doesn't take much to confuse me....I should keep a running list of names.

LOL, welcome to Connie too--but I have met a lady a few times that lives in Pomona(abt.6 miles from Willow) and told her about the forum. She e-mailed me that she had joined, and I thought perhaps a warm welcome (which she has )would encourage her to post.
Lots of gardeners in the Ozarks--and we need encouragement for gardening in our rocks.

Pomona is a small town(?) about half way between West Plains and Willow Springs, Mo. Dont remember the population, but it used to be a thriving town, had cannery,large peach orchards, and lots of businesses, back when the railroads were thriving. Sits just off Hwy.63

Thanks. I should have known or asked my DH. He used to travel down that way and on into Arkansas.

I've already welcomed Connie. Welcome to you too Karen! Pomona must be growing. Hope you both love the Ozarks.
