I didn't make it. I planned on going today (Sunday), but my BAD dog barked all night (inside dog, crate trained, no idea why he's started this), keeping me awake. I felt like doing nothing but lazing in my recliner.

We got to go for a little while. I bought some Candy onions at the Hummert's booth and got a free seedling from MDC. They had aronia melanocarpa this year.
My hubby was drooling over the tractors a bit. He's considering buying a blade to fit on our riding mower to use for snow. We're getting too old to shovel our long driveway.

I had no idea they made such a thing. I'll have to tell hubby. Our driveway isn't long but he sure hates shoveling it. We've been considering buying a snow blower but a blade may be better.

Still just thinking about the snow blade Teeandcee. We need to do some researching because we don't know which one would work the best. I've been looking through some of the discussions about removing snow in the Tractors forum and starting to wonder if a blower would work better on deep snows than a blade or maybe for the amount of money we would spend, it would be cheaper to just hire someone to plow it for us. We don't get deep snows that often and our driveway is flat so it's no trouble to just drive over the snow if we only get a few inches.

Christie the last time we had a snow like the one this Feb. I was still living at home with my parents and wearing short skirts. I think you are wise to investigate the snow blade and ask for opinions of people up north. My lawn mower would not have the power to push snow but I'm sure you have a bigger tractor. I am glad to be retired and not have to get out in it.

I wondered about whether our mower would have the power. It's just a regular yard riding mower. I'll let him know and he can look into it. :)
