I agree with you, Posy Pet. There were not enough flowers and way too many rocks, fences, pools, and lawnmowers. I came home with onion sets, radish seeds, and three pairs of gloves so it wasn't a total loss. And there were tons of nice people there....

I just got back from it. Bought nothin but some popcorn and a diet coke. I wished there were more plants and fewer hottubs too. I did however enjoy a talk I went to on growing bulbs.

I agree about too many rocks & spas and not enough plants! The only thing that interested me was the recycled window garden house.
I worked (volunteered) at the Master Gardener booth on Sunday, and we were quite busy answering questions and handing out information.
I also gave out the GardenWeb site to a few folks. Hope to see new faces here!

Maybe the show at the Expo next month will have more plants - a little closer to planting time.

The recycled window green house was my favorite thing there!My husband closed in our front porch and a carport with recycled glass and windows.But that greenhouse was awesome.The windows must have come from a huge old house.Did you think the other garden show was better?I wasn't happy with it last year either.Oscar from Ash Grove made both shows better.Posy Pet

I've heard the one in March at the Expo center is supposed to have lots more plants this year. Ihope!

The Expo Center is on St. Louis street across from the University Plaza Hotel. It used to be the University Plaza trade center but they tore it down and made it bigger and fancier so now John Q. calls it the Expo Center.
