How interesting, my south coast cherry blossom looks totally different. The petals are pure white and the labellum has only a few red spots. Maybe my plant was labelled incorrectly when I bought it?
How do you grow your plant? Does it get a lot of exposure to direct sunlight?

Maybe,not sure if yours is labelled incorrect or mine. Maybe that's the point your making? Anyway it does get some direct light during the winter months but 50% shade during summer.

I guess during the flower development it has received some direct sun and maybe the extra colour. But to go from pure white to this would take more than just sun.

Interesting point, I will check with the other growers and find out what they get from it.
