Pretty good flowering for such a small plant. Lots of promise.

In general I have little success with Cyms - too warm. The only one I have that does regularly reflower looks very much like this. I don't know if it is in fact the same as it is a NOID like all the rest. How cold are your winter night temps?

I grow mine outside all year round.

THis means in winter the minimums are anywhere between 32F (0C) and 50F (10C). The maximums would average around 55 to 60F I would imagine.

In summer the variation is quite quite high with night temps being 55F and above up to 110F on a couple of days in the middle of January.

Spring and Autumn are both somewhere in between.

The cutoff for Standard type Cymbidiums is average night temps in summer must be below about 20C. Warmer than this and they do not flower much. Of course, there must be a drop in temps as you go into winter.

In my opinion, the Cyms grown in Melbourne are better than those grown in Sydney because summer night temps are cooler.
