Wasnt it a wild night? been awake last 2 nights, dogs dont like storms. we'd have been in a basement if we'd had one.hope everyone that lost posessions realize the most important thing is their lives.we lost everything in a fire once, and had to remember that. praying for you---

We made it through, but had some tense moments. We have a storm cellar but it is across the yard and drive and we didn't go to it. If the storm had been much closer, we would have.

Christy, glad you and ceresone are safe. We are just north of I-44 and these storms seem to follow that corridor.

We did get another 1/2 inch of welcome rain. It looks like the weather has settled down for this week at least. I sure hope the storm season isn't all like these last two have been.

Had lots of wind and some rain but other than noise not alot. Was glad to see some of u posting from up that way. Hope all are well. Judy

I got my mother to the basement and put a cushion on the floor under the stairs. She wouldn't get on it because she said she wouldn't be able to get up again. Scardy dog who always has to come in during storms got on the cushion. It was hailing and I could hear limbs hitting, then it got really still and quiet. I lost 3 gazing balls which are now little slivers of glass that I haven't got picked up yet. The TV showed a "notch" about where I live, but the tornado path was a mile from me.
