I heard frogs a couple of weeks ago at neighboring ponds..that is what I wait to hear each year!

There are so many signs of spring it's hard to list them all. Hubby said this is an El Nino year which may account for all the weird weather. Ted on Color10 News said meteorologist call March 1st springtime already, even though the official date is the 21st. All I know is that trees are budding, the Northern Flickers made their first appearance back in my yard, the quince bush has red buds, the gold finches are turning more and more yellow every day,sedums are bright and green underneath last Fall's leaves, bugs are making gunk on the windshield, spring peepers are noisy, minnows are swimming in my pond, skunks are popping up as roadkill everywhere, daffs are blooming in more and more yards (except mine yet), got a bug bite the other day and I almost got a sunburn sitting on my back porch and soaking up all that wonderful, warm sunshine today! Yes! I am a happy girl right now!!!

Is'nt this weather great. My daffys are in full bloom hyacenths too and afew violets. rose bushes budding out. Daylillys coming up good
I pruned my white muscadine vines today and planted a couple rose bushes, transplanted some daylillys It was a glorious day and i'm happily tired.
I've heard the same thing about this el nino year.yuk!!:(
Spring is here, tho we could still have some cold weather in March.
