Flowers in your vegetables! That's what I do. Do you ever visit Nathaniel Greene Park? I don't know if they have anything growing this early.

Has anyone been to the gardens in Grove, OK? What a treat! They have a Japanese garden, lots of hosta and perinneals, and it's a refreshing walkthrough.

We went in 2002 or so. Hope it's still going, as I really want to go back.

Wickman's is not out by Glenstone.
If you're going down Sunshine, turn north on Fort. It's on the west side of the road before you get to Grand. (Fort is between Kansas and Campbell). I'll link you to a map. You may need to zoom in or out. They have a nice website but I didn't see directions anywhere.
I think they're a little bit pricey but then I think everyone's a little pricey. lol I like to get plants free or grow from seed. Their website said they're having a Geranium sale starting April 3rd I think. Now I can't find where it said that. They had lots of big blooming Geraniums (annual) when I was there.

They had perennials scattered around in their greenhouses but I think it's still a little early for everything to be out. Most nurseries may wait until danger of frost is about over so people won't bring back "dead" plants when they get frozen.

Oops I meant to tell you, their greenhouses are kind of scattered around and unless there's a sign that says "no customers allowed" or something, go ahead and go in. When you go into the main building, there's a big one straight back, past the gift shop. I used to think that was for employee's only and didn't go in there. I was missing a lot.
