Don't know if the name is accurate. Jay Phal lists 2 with names that are similar but not the same. Googling it does not help I have had it for years and grow it cool. It will probably do well in intermediate conditions. If it's the one I think it is it's found throughout central America, Ecuador and Columbia. Not one you can make corsages out of but never the less charming in it's own way.
