Your right on time..start them babies up!

I don't know if you are referring to vegetable garden plants or flowers, but here is what I do in SW Missouri, near Springfield:

Under lights and already up Broccoli and onion plants
snaps, petunias, melampodium, browallia, gaillardia, rose mallow and hibiscus, vinca, red, white and apricot, ageratum, salvia 'Victoria' and a white from saved seed, salvia splendens, delphs, purple basil, oriental poppies,
dichondra, probably more, but can't think what they are right now.

I don't start peppers or tomatoes until April.

BTW, the garden is still too wet!

Yes, mainly flowers!!!! I started today. My lights are up and running....

Thanks for the advice!! My husband keeps telling me it's too early..........I'm telling him It's not and I'm not waiting...LOL
