Fantastic blooms and photo. I really like the detail on the lip. How long ago did you make the divisions?

Wow!! Beautiful flowers. Can you tell me more about how you grow your plants? What size of granite, pot and how often you water?

Thanks.I made the divisions in March of this year.It had some new growths.I had 4 divisions,gave 2 away,an kept 2.As far as I know the 2 I gave away bloomed and my other would have bloomed but I think a squirrel had some lunch on the second one.Mine are in a 6 inch clay pot with small to medium granite pieces.Most of my plants are now in the granite mix.The guessing on the water issue is simple,as i know that the pots will dry out in 2-3 days and its time to water.So I water everything at the same time.It seems to be a good system for me.In a few days my 'Blue Lagoon will be open for me to takes a few photos and I'll post them.I took it out of the pot in was in with a bark mixture last year and its almost all the way open.

What is your temperature and humidity range?

Lets see.Summer 80's to high 90's,but we did have a few days of 105-106.Winter 50-70's maybe.It never gets really cold,we live on a side of a hill that is protected by lots of oak trees,so it helps keep things more in the mid-range.As for humidity not really sure.Sorry for such a vague answer.

I understand completely.I used to fuss with mine on a daily basis,and the results were meager.The results from the last fews years are a little better,but I'm happier that I don't need to tend to them very much.I do look at them almost daily,and if I see something bad I take care of it.I only have about a 3rd of what I used to,so its a little easier.
