Alls good around Branson. Crazy windy today too.

We had nickel sized hail and were under a tornado warning for a while, but all good now. James

We got a short dose of heavy rain, a little thunder and that's it, thank goodness. It's been really windy today.

I'm the only one in my family that wakes up to check for tornado warnings but this time, I slept through most of it, or maybe it was just a very short storm. There was still a tornado warning when I woke up, but the storm had passed through my edge of the county and I just let everyone sleep.

It was so sad to hear about that little girl. I wish they could make mobile homes safer somehow. I don't think tying them down helps enough.

Tornados just freak me out:( I happen to be one of those that live in a mobile home, it is a nice heavy one, but still is not going to matter when it comes to a tornado.
I feel so terrible for the little girl and her family, seems like the tornados are getting worse and worse:(

We had tornado warning for us. I had been watching the local weather and after it went over Ozark they said it was weakening so i went to bed. DD told me it strengthened again and went over us but i slept through it. I live in a mobile home too. Its tied down and we have a solid roof over it and a screen porch attached but still you never know.

I'm glad for everyone whose checked in. It is bad about the little girl,i feel for her poor parents.
