We haven't has enough rain today to spot the deck. I double dug my potato bed, and planted this morning. added the corn gluten meal, for the rain to wash in--and no rain.
Glad you got a nice rain, should get the clematis off to a nice start.

We had a nice steady rain here overnight as well. It is overcast here today. but I don't think we will get anymore rain. It is clearing off.
I have got to get out side tomorrow and move some shrubs around since we have had some rain.

We just got under 1/4 inch north of I-44. I am hoping for a real soaking rain this week.......they keep promising it but so far not much luck.

I have some of those blue tubs that cattle minerals come in, lix tubs, and DH said he thought he could find me three for the blueberries. I have a bale of sphagnum peat moss and cottonseed meal (should be on the acid side) and rotted wood chips and garden soil so I am going to try ceresone's method and plant them in the tubs. Got lots of rotted manure too. I think the ones in the garden may be dead. They haven't grown a bit since last season. The ones in the wintered over tubs are budded out and one is ready to bloom.

Don't forget the drain holes..

It's Tuesday mid-day and maybe our storms in Joplin are over. It rained pretty hard and I had an inch in the gauge. Looks like southeastern Mo. is getting plenty of moisture.

My grass will need cutting next week. I thought the snow peas would be floating in their bed but they were still there.
