I have dichondra in the front yard that I would like to move to the back pocket "lawn". Any suggestions?

Also, where I plan on putting the dichondra was recently filled with other grasses that had gone to seed. I am afraid that I will get lots of weeds when I start watering. Is there any pre-emergent that I can use with the dichondra? I would much prefer organic.
