Pam, if I did much of a dance outside here, I would be buried up to my knees in mud!

I am happy to see Spring too and now want some warmer and drier weather to go with it.

Lots of mud here too but it's going to be sunny and in the upper 60's today. That certainly is spring-like.
Pam I hope your gardening goes well. Don't get discouraged by trial and error. It may take some time to get used to the climate change, But - The more you plant, the more successes you'll have. : )

It is muddy here too but I managed to plant tulips and alliums that I bought cheap in Jan. or Feb. from our MFA.They all looked iffy but I have blooming hyacinths and all the others had sprouts and roots.Other things are sprouting and leafing out and I have a broody hen so it must be spring!Next month is our normally rainy month and you know we'll want every drop of this excess in July.Surely the drouth is over.Posy Pet

What a wonderful first day of spring. Yeah, ground was a bit on the muddy side but the sunshine felt great this afternoon. I left work an hour early, rushed home to put my play clothes on and sowed some larkspur, poppies, feverfew, tickseed and planted some daylilies and hostas. And that possible snow we were suppose to get Sunday is only going to be rain tomorrow afternoon....I guess that's why they call them "weather guessers".

Started raking and cleaning up a bit today. will go out and finish up tomorrow. 4 of the grandchildren went out w/me. we were dry if we stayed on the hill. the bottom is... well a lake. oh well it will be baked and hard as rock in july. going to put some more hosta and cosmos and poppies out tomorrow, when I have less "help" lol. love the weather.
