I have never heard of it. I will have to do a search. Some that are called invasive are not that bad so I would look into it. Ajuga invades my "lawn" but does not cause me a problem; I like it. But I planted invasive plants years ago because I didn't believe the danger and I am paying for that mistake. I love honeysuckle and planted it on purpose. If it would all bloom and smell good I would forgive it. I wonder why honeysuckle can cover a big area and not bloom. Some of it does bloom so maybe it is a soil thing. It is all over the pond bank where I tried to get it started and in my yard smothering stuff and on the side of my driveway with the other curse cinnamon vine.

It is interesting to learn about a new plant. It looks like it is a reseeder but doesn't sound like it takes over the world.

Thanks for the link Helen. I didn't realize the health risks of this plant. I have advanced osteoarthritis and it sounds like eating this plant could be debilitating for arthritis sufferers. Think I still might plant 1 or 2 but not the 10 sprouts I have. Looks like I just added a few more plants to the sale list come time for the yard sale.

I'm not familar with that one, tho I've grown Good King Henry, (lamb's quarters) which is a chenopodium also. That didn't seem to be invasive however, and it's supposed to be a good salad herb.

Lambs quarters seeds like crazy but it is not any worse than our common weeds. Johnson grass is what I call invasive. I like poke but don't do the other spring greens like carpenter's square and lamb's quarters. I probably should not eat poke but I seem to crave it just once or twice with bacon in spring. It makes my lips itch not a good sign because I think that is an allergic reaction.
