Not sure of the answer about chemical residue from the clippings---Here is a simple explantion of how to post pictures.

I am not sure if you already know how to upload pictures to Photobucket ,so I will begin there.

After you sign in to Photobucket--under Upload Images --click on Choose Files--My Computer. That will take you to a screen on you computer and then click on one that will bring up the picture you want to post. Then click "Open "and it will then upload that picture to Photobucket.
Scroll down on Photobucket and you will see the picture you just uploaded. Click the box on that picture and then click on HTML Code and it will say Copied.

You are now ready to post the picture on Garden Web. On the part where you type the message, just right click your Mouse and it will give you an option of Paste. Left click on paste and that will bring up a lot of numbers from Photobucket. You will not see the picture until you click on Preview Message.

Is he using a mulching mower? Because if so the lawn clippings on your lawn are basically coming from your lawn as it's cut. I suppose that some stray clippings may get stuck up in the mowing compartment and then fall onto your lawn, but surely that's extremely minimal to begin with, and the amount of chemicals in those bits of grass even smaller.

When your lawn is mowed there would be few, if any, clippings from the neighbors lawns so you could have him mulch mow your lawn, depending on how easy it is to convert the mower to do that. Some mowers are very easy, mine has a boot that you put on the discharge chute, while others require major changes, the one at church is pretty permanent and would require a couple of hours to take off or install.

It's impossible to avoid all chemicals in your lawn and garden; to put things in perspective, if you're using water from your city water supply, your lawn is getting some chemical exposure there. Clippings are a great source of free lawn nutrients. I ran across an article about using clippings and other organic nutrients here:
