This morning, I found a bit shy of 3 inches in the rain gauge - And my just-planted cannas were floating -

Lots of rain but no damage, it didn't wash out the gravel paths this time. There was about 2" in the rain guage but it leaks so probably more. Sure made things grow with the sun today!

Looks like more nasty stuff might be coming our way tonite tho.

I have been away since Friday morning. My rain gauge had .6 inch in it this evening (Monday). I'm glad I didn't get more because my dogs had no one to console them. I called my neighbor Sunday and she said we missed the storm.

It rained very hard with wind last night (early Tuesday AM) don't think we had any hail this time. Horrible-looking storm cells with tornado warnings going through Joplin on Intellicast -- I was glad I had brought the rest of the plants to be put out into the garage again. This morning there was a little less than 3-1/2 inches in the gauge -- rain only added about 1/2 inch as I didn't empty the rain gauge yesterday. Hard to believe only 1/2 inch. I didn't check the peach tree this AM -- hope there are still some peaches attached --

I was expecting more rain too Sunny. We got quite a bit of thunder. Our grand total for the weekend and last night together is only 8/10. Looks like that's it for a few days too.
