see you there ! i've never been before, and planned early this year to attend. hope there's a nice variety of plants there-- i have too many now-- but i WANT lots more. flower plants mostly.sounds as if we might get to meet many of the people that post here.

Where is Baker Creek and are you sure 24th and 25th seems stange to have a festival on a Sunday and Monday

Jeremiath is a Seventh Day Adventist, with Friday evening thru Sat. being their time of worship. The "Offbeat" timew for the festivals doesn't seem to bother the fans of Heirloom gardening, nor tourists or customers. We vendors who have set up over the years have noticed a lot of couples who have came to the festival on Sunday, with the husband [usually] telling the wife, "You don't need to buy that plant!" and then the wife showing up early on Monday morning[ presumably when the husband has gone to work.] with the checkbook and saying "Yes, I did need to buy that plant!" Strong.

We'll be there too. It's a great show - good music, lots of plants of every sort from herbs, heirloom tomatoes, flowers, natives etc., great speakers - this year Amy Goldman, Jim Long, and more. Always lots of GW's there too. See everyone there.

Baker Creek is way back in the Boonys, North of Mansfield, Mo. Coming from Springfield, on Highway 60, take 2nd exit North, (highway 5] One mile north of hwy 60, turn left[west] onto "New London" road, drive about 5 miles and you will come to Baker Creek road, on left, 1/2 mile from there is the store perched atop a hill. Jer is good about having lots of signs[in the shape of vegetables]. If you make it, I'll be the one vendor with Native American crafts and [hopefully] demonstrating the art of making large ornate grapevine wreathes. Strong

P. S. I drove over there last week. (I live in Marshfield.) It's called "London" Rd., not "NEW" London. Not trying to be difficult, just helpful. :D You can also see it in the MO Atlas and Gazetteer, if you have that map. (I couldn't live without mine! ;) )
