Found growing in granite rock clefts in the neighboring state of Minas Gerais with little shade and virtually no rain for 5 months. This is one of my oldest plants. I reckon it is about 20 years old. I have had it for 5. I treat it a little more kindly, but not much. You can see how shrivelled the pseudobulbs are.
