I live in Memphis and have about 3500 sq ft of Meyers Zoysia. I just fired TruGreen Chemlawn. I laid the sod in april 2006 and as far as soil treatment i used Natureslawn.com Natures Magic which is a liquid of 58.2% humic acid and 41.8% seaweed with blackstrap molasses also used there Liquid Aerify which i still use as recommended. From reading here and posting in lawn care i learned that i cut my zoysia to high at 3.5 inches which now is at 2 inches, not watered correctly but i am now, it was over fertilized and with about two weeks over 100 degree F my lawn is brown and may have fungus. In lawn care they said do not do anything until spring. What i read here is organics can not hurt. I thought about puuting down corn meal for fungus and corn gluten meal for weeds. I know compost will help and a local garden center sells this stuff called soil soup at soilsoup.com which is like applying compost. about seven dollars a gallon apply at 1000 sq ft per gallon twice amonth in spring and once per month mid summer through fall. then in spring i will apply CGM and soil soup with SBM. Am i on the right track.

This week: apply corn meal, soil soup and CGM thats it for this year? then in mid-february apply CGM

in march or april apply SBM with soil soup and what else.

Can some one help with a rough schedule i am getting confused. thanks for your help and will enjoy this journey into organics.
