It was great wasn't it?
I moved a Rose of Sharon I had growing in a pot into the ground today. It is about 3 years old and getting too big for it. The ground was easy to dig also.
I also moved some blooming dark purple hardy pansies from a spot I didn't want them in, I put them in front of the ROse of Sharon, looks nice. The ROS is nothing but big twigs, but the cute little flower heads brighten up the spot.
I want spring to finally come, but I have a feeling we'll have to wait about 6 more weeks.

It was nice, but strange as the daylight wasn't corresponding to the temps.

I was actually able to bury the kitchen scraps that have been accumulating on the soil on my raised beds. I actually found some very active and healthy looking worms, just a few inches down. Am I glad that I chopped up all those leaves in the fall and put them on top of that soil.

Should be a great veggie crop this year!

Was anyone brave enough to check the thermometer today? The temperature came down a little bit didn't it?

Hard to believe that I originally posted this six days ago and we are ggetting snow now, after well delat with 40-50mph guts and teens as the main temps the past two days.
