I was there yesterday with my indulgent DH. It's a nice infusion of green and my gosh they drew a crowd, at least on Saturday. I am hoping to go the Flower Show. Would like to go when it is not packed-- read somewhere that evenings were better?

I wouldn't mind trying one in Pittsburgh, but don't want to go alone, none of my friends are into plants much. I went to Wal-Mart garden section, that did me some good for winter blues. I stacked up my cart with some of those bags with 3 dormant plant roots for about $6.00 after taxes. Some Caladiums, red and green, Lilies, Cinnamon fern something else I can't recall. A stack of seeds, flowers and veggies. I love going to Phipp's conservatory also. I may get my mom to go there with me.

The Pittsburgh garden show is going on now. I don't have anyone to go with. My friends are busy. I am sure I can eventually see many of the display items. Many I can't afford anyway. I may try to start some plants where they are likely to grow. I am willing to ignore the "so many pants, for so much money?"

Sorry, I drank too much when I made that last post. I still want to go to Phipps conservatory in Pittsburgh. I recommend it to anyone near Pittsburgh.
