I may have been the source of that one. I purchased it from Cal Orchids about 12 to 14 years ago and it's been a reliable bloomer. The full name is Darwiniana Charm 'Blue Pacific' but according to Arthur, Darwiniana is no more and it's been absorbed into Neofineta. I'm not sure on that, I still call mine Darwiniana.

After a search of the RHS International Orchid Register, the name should be Vandachostylis Charm 'Blue'. It is a cross of the now Vanda falcata (formerly Neofinetia falcata) and Vandachostylis Tham Yuen Hae.

Was Darwinara Charm. Alas Darwinara has gone the way of the Dodo.
What was wrong with Neofinetia falcata? Looks nothing like a Vanda and it grows and flowers a long way from the "tropics".
I think these Vanda falcata crosses are really nice. Sigh!

I agree on with Authur. It does not seem right to have Vanda falcata on my old Neofinetia labels.
