I ordered my seeds last month so they are now all sorted and in their zip loc bags. Some I've already started inside under lights. I have zinnias,cosmos,tithonia,nigella,purple hyacinthe bean,cerasteum,sunflowers,morning glories, annual flax plus others and then of course all the vegetable seeds.Let the fun begin. You'll never again need to buy cleome seeds though. I planted them once about 20 years ago. Every year they come up like a ground cover and I have to dig them up and toss them. They are wonderful flowers.

this is the first year in a very long time that i won't be doing seeds. we have a new addition, a kitten, and she has been destroying house plants and knocking things down from windowsills (though i doubt she'll go near the cacti again). i have sooo many seeds from last year. i hate to sow directly, since i can't tell the difference between seedlings and weeds.

carol, i promised myself i wouldn't do seed exchanges this year, buy any seeds or get involved in any seed robins. i have so many left from last season. but did i listen to myself? noooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!

while at the flower show, a vendor (can i mention their name?) with a fantastic representation of about 12 seed companies, tempted me and my wallet. he had an entire rack from one company that was nothing but tomatoes. i was so impressed with that. i treated (and/or limited) myself to one pack of seeds per company.

naturenut, i feel your pain. my new puppy has eaten every plant tag, has dug out many plants, chewed others and dug major holes everywhere...i have to rethink an entire 50' bed this season.

I wish cleome came back every year for me. I get a few, but never enough to fill the bed. I've been planting two packs of seed each spring for the past five years, you'd think my garden would be overtaken with them by now.
