Very pretty and the leaves look healthy no holes or spots. It goes with your brick in that picture. You must have been faithful about watering last year. I have one with buds but I'm not sure what it is. Mine looks more like the native ones and it could be. I got some native plants last year at the Master Gardener's sale.

Christie,my Endless Summer is loaded with buds and a few are showing color but not nearly that big.

BTW, my favorite Annabelle took a hit and is about half the size it was......after all these years.

Annabelle got through the summer ok and has lots of buds. I have a couple other hydrangeas that I didn't water enough that look awful. There's barely anything left of them. I hope they'll bounce back. The one in the photo has a few leaves that look chlorotic. They're not showing though.
I'd like to see a picture of yours when it blooms Helen and Endless Summer too. My neighbor has one that looks sort of like Annabelle but has smaller flowers and it's more upright. It might be native.
