Nigrohirsute and Christyanum cross, it has all the black hairs of the nigrohirsute family, but seems pretty vigorous. The orange in the lip gets bolder are the flowers age. Less than last year, put it's about to put out one more before it rests. The picture is of an older flower.

Not very, the tallest cane is a foot tops. Which is nice, I can put it on the coffee table and still see the tv over it, lol.

Anyone who can grow and flower one of these is an expert. Lol!
1000 orchids exhibited at the local orchid society monthly meetings and shows during the last year. Plenty of soft-cane dendrobiums, nil Nigrohirsute types.
