I'm w/you I would not try to move it either.
I started some from seed "again" this year. I finally got some to live.
They are not very big. But I hope they will come back next year and bloom.
Sorta like my foxglove. Never could get any to grow for me. Then last year they took off. This year they are blooming now. I just stand an look at them in disbelief. They are actually in my flower beds an not in a book or something. lol
What is the one in the back ground in the second picture that is right behind it? Curiosity an all...

Very beautiful and now you'll have them every year. In the picture I don't think the red and burgundy look bad together.

I think you may be looking at another bud of the iris Clarence. The short green is a perennials sunflower with small double flowers.
