It's too bad you won't be there when the farm market is open during the weeks. I believe it is open on Thursdays (I think), on one of the small streets downtown State College (sorry, I forget which street it was). Most of the vendors are Mennonites and Amish, and have some beautiful plants and veggie. I haven't been there since I graduated.

Unfortunately, the ones I know of are closed on Sundays. And there are some good ones!

There is one perennial potted plant grower (Patchwork Farms) that sets up a semi-permanent tent at the Nittany Mall, just a few miles from State College on RT 26 (College Ave.). He opens at noon on Sundays. The tent is located between McDonalds and the Main Mall building in the mall parking lot.
