Hey everyone!
One of my favorite orchids is in bloom again for the second time this year (on the same cane), but I was lucky enough to get two flowers this time. This is Dend. Peng Seng (tobaense x cruentum). Unfortunately, my camera isn't good enough to capture the amazing detail and color in there, but here's an idea:
And here is my one and only slipper orchid. It's the second time blooming for me...I was going to trade it away after a year and a half of doing nothing but slowly putting out new growth, but the foliage is pretty attractive, so I kept it. I think it enjoys slightly higher light and humid conditions, because it popped this flower out after a few months in the orchidarium. Not too happy about the color and shape, but it's kind of fun to have around :)
