Gnats don't bother me too much, but they drive my husband crazy by flying into his eyes. He wears a net hat outside during gnat season, with netting that covers his face and goes all the way down to his shoulders. Seems to work well.

Gnats love me (or hate me, depending on how you look at it...) and I really didn't want to use a cutter type like spray with little children around. I went online for home remedies for gnat repellants and found quite a few. The problem is I am not sure which one worked. I think it was one of the ones with Vanilla but not 100% sure.
