well, i ventured out today to check out creek edge nursery. it's a big place. seems to be a real family affair. young kids in the back filling containers with dirt in their assembly line, while an adult placed seeds.

they were extremely busy and well organized and knowledgeable.

herbs $1.50, veggies ran from 90 cents for a three pack to i believe $3.00. nothing out of the ordinary, although they had an amazing assortment of peppers.

everything, and i mean everything looked extremely healthy.

lots of hanging baskets - i never priced them, although i was tempted to grab a gardenia, but i am trying to root a cutting, so i passed on it.

thet had a nice assortment of annuals and perennials. i didn't see much in the way of shrubs.

they sell some garden gadgets, ornaments, pots, shephard hooks, containers, soil, mulch and all that fun stuff.

i did buy a small variety of things that i didn't sow by seed and spent 18.00. i thought it was a good deal for what i got.

once i knew where i was going, it was easy to get there. as long as you can find the toys-r-us in the franklin mills mall you can't miss it. it's right up the road. amazes me that there is a private residence right there among all those acres of franklin mills.
