My break is over. Had 2 days off of the hose dance and now am starting back again. It is still cool at night but in uppper 90's during the day. Wont be long and we will be wishing summer was here again. Judy

Enjoyed it while it lasted, but back to 90s again. At least we got some rain and a short cool down. Funny, I never realize I am stressed by heat until it ends and I feel relaxed again. Don't think it bothered me nearly this much many years ago.

I should get out and work in the yard as early as you Peggy. You've been out walking around the yard and back in the house by 5:30am. You're making me look bad. : )

It has been cooler. Isn't it funny how 92 degrees can feel cool after a few days of that 100 degree stuff. Wish we'd gotten more rain but really appreciated what we did get. There were birds everywhere hopping around my yard so they must've enjoyed it too.
I noticed this morning my little Japanese snowbell tree is brown. I didn't water it during our drought. It's out by itself and I forgot all about it. Poor thing. I can't remember when I planted it - maybe three or four years ago so it should've been fairly established. guess not : (
