My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Brassavola David Sander (my first homebred!)

I tried unsuccessfully to find this plant years ago and finally gave up. I bought a Brassavola cucullata and Rhyncholaelia digbyana, and when they bloomed I made the cross with B. cucullata as the pod parent. I gave the seedpod to Stewart Orchids to flask, which they did for free in exchange for keeping many of the seedlings, which was great for me, as my space was limited.

I got plants back a few years ago and sold/gave away all but the largest, which bloomed the Sunday following Thanksgiving!

Its night-fragrant, smells like its mother.
