I've never been so happy to see rain! Everything has perked up, including myself, since I don't have to drag those hoses around today watering everything. This should be really good for our tomatoes, peppers, and beans!

Got just a half-inch here on the south side of Joplin, but the cloudy overcast day at least will help it soak in before the sun burns it off. Nice!

The rain sure makes things grow. I'm sure my zinnias are taller than they were this morning.

I got an inch and it was just in time. I don't think I have ever had rattier tomatoes because of stinkbugs, worm holes and sun scorch. So far they aren't making me sick so I am not spraying with Bt or spinosad. I did spray with Surround which is just clay. I have seen stink bugs walking around on the white coating so I don't know if it is doing anything at all. It should help with the sun scald.
