Isn't it fun finding bargains. I was very greedy at the master gardeners' plant sale. And I planted way too many tomatoes. I can't buy any bargains because I haven't planted my last bargains. It is hard to keep what I have watered. I have some stuff in tubs or stock tanks. I put some compost around and between the pots. Then I can water them all at once. If I put them in the ground they would not get watered enough. Newly planted stuff this time of year needs water every day almost. I planted some coneflowers several weeks ago that had been in pots. I've found them wilted a few times and they are tough. It seems like I have hoses all over. My well is shallow so I can't keep the water running for long. I am siphoning a pond on the hill but it will go dry in a short time or get very low. Big frogs have moved into my little pond. I have baby frogs on the sides of one of my stock tanks. They are the size of my fingernail on my pinky finger.

I need to keep them close together so they'll be easier to water.
I got rudbeckia 'Irish Eyes', coreopsis 'Baby Sun', a couple kinds of Lantana; 'Lucky Yellow Improved' and Lucky 'Red Flame' and some pathetic looking Swizzle zinnias.
I have other things to plant too Helen. I still have some echinacea and butterfly weed seedlings that I winter sowed but they were so small this spring they just weren't ready to put in the ground. They're still pretty small. I'm going to wait until fall on those I think.

Christie, that's where I bought my pepper plants this year; not on sale though.

I still can't decide where to put my herb garden....they need out of those pots....they are very rootbound.

I agree, things will need to be watered daily in pots...I set mine on the patio so I see them every day or they would be goners!
