OH YES! BLESSED RAIN!!! ours started earlier, dog throws a fit if thunder is within 50 miles. We got 3/4 inch--first really measurable rain since April, air feels so good.

We finally got rain too - 6/10 of an inch and it sure brought out the June Bugs. I could stand in one spot and count dozens of them (if they'd hold still). There seems to be more Japanese Beetles too. : (
Ceresone - Our dogs scratch at the door to come in if they hear thunder or fireworks. I don't know if they're really afraid or just trained to know that I'll let them in if they hear thunder.

I am late reading this , but we got about 2 inches of rain here on Gaither Mountain . What a blessing ! And it cooled down considerably .

We got 2/10,then 3/10,then while we were having our yard sale we got 2 1/2 INCHES!I had been praying for rain and said I wished there was something else I could do and this friend looked real serious and said"You could have a yard sale" Boy,am I glad I did!Thank you God for blessing us with this wonderful life giving rain.Posy Pet

Posy, that's funny! It's like washing your car so it will rain. I hope your yard sale was successful even though you got rain.

We managed right at 2 inches here in SW Stone County. We were under a Severe Thunderstorm alert...just missed some bad hail. Wind got pretty frisky, but otherwise just rain and some boomers.

We were under a severe t/s watch yesterday but didn't get anything. Today it started clouding up this afternoon but so far just some light sprinkles you can barely feel. I'm watering now but still haven't given up hope although the clouds seem to be dispersing. ;-(
