Christie, My weigelas bloom in the spring. And the blossums got bit bad by the freeze and i lost one completely,but the others are looking good. I don't remember the names but one has varigated leaves and white blooms. The other has pink flowers and another that died had red flowers. I'll have to prune them next spring as i beleive they form next years blooms after they bloom in spring.

Christie, my weigelas only bloom in the spring and the freeze killed all the branches--loaded with blooms--right back to the ground. I have a variegated leaf with a pale pink bloom and a green leaf with a red bloom. They both put out nicely after the freeze but I don't expect to see blooms this year. They bloom on the previos summer's growth. So if they don't freeze back next spring they should bloom then.

Thanks to both of you. Maybe they'll look extra good next year since this year was a no-show.
