Ditto the safe holiday wish and hope the storms don't spoil the fireworks displays. I hope it rained at my house. It rained on me in Seneca today at the parade. I met the lady with the day lilies in Seneca; she is elderly and can't care for them. Her daughter mentioned day lilies for weed pulling time; I'll have to come visit when it isn't raining. I don't keep my own yard weeded very well. I did not ask for day lilies; just told her they were beautiful.

We got through the Fourth fireworks without rain...just lightening got pretty close so we finished up and left a few. The kids went out very early the next morning and did them!

Made ice cream and cooked out. Both kids were down....quite a crowd with one's cat and one's dog in the house too!

We just got a light shower. Still needing a good rain.

Helen, you you mean you are going to help her weed for daylilies? That's a good deal if the ground is soft and it is cool and didn't last over two hours!
