We got some sprinkles yesterday but none of them landed in my rain gauge. I was hoping we'd get something overnight but it was still empty when I checked it this morning.
I have a hydrangea and some hostas where they can catch the run-off from our shed. As you said, even a few sprinkles gives them a pretty good watering.
