LOL, I hope you found 'mother love' for the plants. I think it's delightful. Is the bloom larger than the typical cochleata? Is it fragrant?

Tried the sniff test. Returned nothing! On the other hand this rather bland looking flower has a stunning perfume. Not sure which of the ancestors contributed. I'll know in a week or so if it is E. tampensis when that plant flowers.

Certainly is a plain Jane. Lol, Sorry could not resist.
Epi/enc tampensis in bloom. Gorgeous. Strongly perfumed but different to the hybrid pictured above. Line bred from somewhere, probably from H & R. Hot, humid and horrible today in the glasshouse where it is growing.

Thanks Arthur, glad its hot & humid...6 Celsius outside here. Not even any fragrance on that homely plant. Can't give it away.

Bet you could give it away, no problem, purely because it is a species orchid. Wonder if it gets as big as an awarded Grammatophyllum scriptum where the judging panel had to visit the orchid. Perhaps that variety will stay "dwarf"
