I live in Kansas City, Missouri which is zone6. The winters most years are more like 7b. Every few years we dip below the 0F degree mark. We very often have warm periods in the winter of 60+ degrees or more. And cold snaps do not usually last more than 10 days or so. Our summers here are very very hot. It is common for daqytime highs to be over 100 degrees for a week or more. So what Palms would be best here? Trachycarpus Takil, Sabal Minor, Sabal Birmingham, or others? Also a lot of people here plant Musa Basjoos(hardy banana) in their yards, so do you think that is also a good option? Any advice is greatly appreciated, Thanks
