You could paint your porch and railing in a cedar colour to match.
Or paint the porch floor the cream and the railing the cedar colour along with the door and sidelights.
This trim colour is so nice, looks like home to me :)

I do not know the color of the green as it is siding but the colour of the trim is called dessert maze It came from a paint store called Cloverdale Paints in British Columbia Canada and I am not sure if you have a paint store with the same name but you could try to get something similar in your area if you take a picture to your paint store Thanks Hobbsie

I would make railings match the cedar. Paint garage doors the trim color to neutralize their size. Then paint the front door and sidelights a deep earthy red to make your door the true focal point. Love your Craftsman style!

Actually, the sidelights should probably be the trim color, and paint only the door red or a warm contrast focal color.

shabby2chic thinks that you should play up the contrast with your front door and go for a vibrant shade, perhaps Benjamin Moore Rusty Nail (closest to your stain colour) or Teak. If you are a little more brave you could use something like Mayflower Red, a definite brick red, that will pull in the tones of your wood (I assumed it is stained but don't know the shade) and then take a co-ordinating brown shade onto your porch floor, it will anchor your area and make it much easier to clean. Your deck railing is already stained and that alone makes it stand out. I think you need to pull in the richness of the colour, work with your stain colour to make it generally in the same tone as your front door. I would do the door and sidelites in your vibrant shade otherwise it will look disjointed. From the street the look you have is very calm, but inviting, but you need something like that pop of contrast colour to draw people in and welcome in your guests.

Paint your porch railings, beams and risers the same colour as your trim.
Paint the stairs the same as the porch flooring.
For your front door and porch flooring I would choose a paint colour in the historic reds from BM, like Garrison Red HC-66 or Townsend Harbor Brown HC-64, goes great with cream tones and Camouflage or Desert Haze.

I vote for matching the existing white-ish trim color.

To Kelly35, our house is a very similar green and it's called Moss Green from Sikkens Rubbol, which we bought at Benjamin Moore, we are in British Columbia as well. Our trim is Silver Birch, again from Sikkens. As for the front door, we wanted something a little different and that would blend with our slate steps, so we went for Benjamin Moore Montpelier, a greyish blue. The effect is very calming...

Trim color if gorgeous! I think the railings, and stair step treads would be perfect in the same stain color as new trim. Face the riser part of stairs with house trim(cream white) and paint the door a rich gold.

Lovely house. I would paint the railings your trim color and the floor and steps a darker brown.

Pretty house, nice colors! But, I'm thinking, if you're doing all this work now, why not finish the job and replace the rails ans steps where needed? Budget no doubt! But, then rather than paint them as a cover up, save your money and next spring bring the guys back to wrap it up! Painted porch floors are notoriously tough to maintain. We replaced our porch floor twice before we went with Ipee a Brazilian hardwood, and we sealed it, no paint, and it is lovely. If you must paint, idvfind a color that closely matched the cedar posts and rafters to make the porch a strong architectural feature.
