I have been working so hard in my garden, added running beds along the chainlink fence, added 4 beautiful hydrangeas, 2 roses, and a million others, only to have all the rain just sit and create a bog garden! I have clayish soil, so it isnt draining properly. I had no idea i had drainage issues as it hasnt rained this hard in forever! Now do i dig everything up and raise the soil level? Oy.

Anyone else have this problem? Im sure i shouldve known the water sits where it is , but i never planned on adding beds where i did.
