Pretty Lady Margaret! It's parentage includes incarnata, so there's a good chance it'll regrow from the roots come spring, but I wouldn't put too much faith in the vegetative top surviving a hard freeze. Then again, this is now day three for me of freezing/near freezing weather, and although my Incense is absolutely shredded, my caerulea *still* seems to be shrugging it off. There are *icicles* dripping down the leaves, for crying out loud!

I've yet to get any clear idea on the cold hardiness and regrowability of Lady Margaret, but come spring I'm putting a cutting in the ground on the south side of my house. Ask me again in 18 months and I'll be able to tell you one way or the other. ;-)

I have read of a couple reports from people claiming their LM came back outside in zone 7. Mine is indoors as it still has a couple of fruits from last fall ripening. Next year, I'll plant it in the ground and see if it survives, after I clone it of course, for insurance. My P. 'Elizabeth' survived last winter and came back, only to succumb to voles. I replanted with a backup, and it is now outdoors under mulch.

Wee it lived and looks just fine Im so happy.All buds still on it .My morning glorys and moonflower did well too.
