Gerbera/Gerber/Transvaal

Okay, most folks call these gorgeous flowers "Gerber" Daisies, but the name is actually "Gerbera," which is the name of the person who developed this strain. Then some call it the Transvaal Daisy.

If you go with "Gerbera" I do believe the pronounciation is GER-be-rah. Anyone want to verify or tell me that's wrong? Believe it or not, this topic comes up with surprising frequency in garden circles. Thanks for any help...
