So glad we got some rain here flowers were looking so sad but have already perked up. this water use restriction was hard on em.

Happy as can be here in Z5 - we're looking like a rain forest again!

I got 2.5 inches yesterday, and of course most ran off as it came very fast. would rather have had 1 inch of slow rain over a day or two. Total for the week was 5.5 inches which was more than for the previous 2 months.

We had a lovely soaking rain last Friday, the garden looks very happy now.

As of 9 pm on Friday, the rain had stopped but the sky was still thick with heavy cloud cover. I took a last stroll outside at 10:30, and was amazed to see the sky completely clear and filled with brilliant stars. Every last cloud had vanished, in an hour and half.

No rain here in Pittsburgh. Dry, dry dry...
