Bought a pakage of 6 passiflora. There a 2 which I can not find in books or on net and the saler is not replying. One is a Quazar, the other is a Antioquiesta x Mollissima. I need to know their needs before thrasplanting. Can any one help?
Hi Tiresunltd Thank you for your personal email to me. You will find Quasar if you put Passiflora Quasar into Google. Its correct name is Passiflora Quazar It is marked 'TM' because it is trademarked by my friend Patrick Worley and as such should not be propagated without permission..which is probably why the seller is not replying. Check the link below for more info re Passiflora QuazarÂ. I would recommend full sun for it and it is quite hardy. In contrast the P. antioquiensis x P. mollissima will grow best in shade and will not like either frost or too much heat. This cross is usually known as Passiflora x exoniensis see http://www.passionflow.co.uk/aunty.htm . Myles
